RC Group - 2026 B&B Chapman Memorial Trophy

Once again another great day of sailing with great Club Members. It was great to have a couple of new skippers join in the competition, Norm and Stephen, and hope to see them again as new members at Lake Samsonvale.

We had a good turnout for this handicap event, seven M Class and one IOM. Yours Truely was to take out First Place, followed by Les and Bruce completing the podium positions.

We had very little weed and I'm afraid very little wind and varying in direction making for a very challenging day.

Les was able to take some videos using Slo-Mo which makes action shots interesting where you can see what is happening at a slower rate. But in our case, with little breeze, it is hard to see the yachts moving at all.

Our next scheduled sail is the Championship # 4 next Sunday 14/06/2026, Yes I know, it is only a week away.
