Yes, You can have a picnic, go for a paddle, join in a race. get involved with your kids in the learn to sail program. have a BBQ or relax on the clubhouse deck. Due to SEQwaters restrictions swimming is not permitted

Visitors are most welcome but due to the locked gate, visitors should contact the club a few days prior to arrange entry. Members only can access the club during daylight hours throughout the year. Sometimes, due to weather events, access may be restricted.

The short answer is no. The lake is split into specific zones. The zone that LSWSA is in allows for all non-motorised craft, but does not allow fishing. There is a local fishing club in the zone next to us. See the zone map for more details

Through the summer season, we race approx once a fornight. There is a limited winter series, a Marathon series a New Years Regatta and a Winter Marathon. Please see our calendar for more details. You can sail at the club any day throughout the year as long as the club is open.

Yes, Third-party liability insurance, and racing-specific policies are necessary to cover the risks involved. Standard boat insurance policies may exclude racing-related claims, so it's essential to check the terms of your policy or consider a specialized racing insurance policy.

For a fee, club members may store their vessels in a well-maintained boat park. Undercover storage is available for smaller vessels. A caretaker’s flat is occupied by a full-time caretaker. Security at the site is excellent.. Please contact us for more details using our contact page.
