RC Club - Marblehead Championship #3
Eight boats on the water for the first race was an excellent turnup and to still have eight boats sailing at the end of the day was great.
What a good day, some weed, a little breeze especially later in the day, and most of all, pleasant company. The weed was an unfair handicapper but all had to deal with it at some time during the day.
Congrats to Les, Jason, and Ian on their podium finishes. With all the boats so closely matched, one slip up or a strand of weed or two, put you back in the fleet very quickly.
As Mother's Day is in 2 weeks, our next race will be Handicap# 4 in 3 weeks time on Sunday 18/5/2025.
