2025 Presentation Day Regatta

Well the year has come and gone and races run.

The 2025 Presentation Day Regatta was a Scratch Race Event run on the old triangle/windward return/triangular course. Breezes were fairly consistant with a fairly competitive fleet so the little weed that there was made a huge handicap to those who jagged a little. We had a good sized fleet with Paul (the Caretaker) joining in with Andy's old boat for part of the day.

Ian Shaw took out the day followed by Les and Bruce, congrats to all.
We handed out Awards for 2025 after our BBQ Lunch, pics and a copy of the podium finishers for each award are attached.

Congrats to Les for taking out the trophy for the 2025 Scratch Championship whilst I managed to take out the Handicap Championship.

Well I guess that winds up 2025 as we now prepare for our 2026 RC Sailing Year.

Our first sail in 2026 will be on SATURDAY, 17th January 2026. That's right, we are sailing on a Saturday because some have commitments on the Sunday. Bruce will create the new sailing calendar soon. I think Bruce mentioned sailing on the following Sunday, but this is the Australia day weekend so may be in doubt.
