2025 OPEN DAY Wrap Up
After 3 months of planning, there was some trepidation as to whether anyone would turn up on our Open Day. We had estimated fifty to one hundred people and planned accordingly. Two hundred and 80 people came through the gates! That kept us rather busy all day.
The best part for me was meeting so many lovely people.
We also thought that maybe 20 or so people might run in the Amazing Race, but we went through 70+ entries. We hope everyone had fun participating. The winners have now been contacted via email. There will be a follow up email later this week.
Everyone I spoke to said they enjoyed the day and social media feedback has been positive. There are dozens of images on Facebook and a short video on our Youtube channel.
We were very fortunate with the weather turning such a beautiful day. The light winds, which picked up a little later in the day, were well suited to paddling and taking newbies and kids out on sailing boats.
Thanks to everyone who turned up and helped support and promote the event.
