RC Club - Ray Nasmith Trophy

Well, today we held the Ray Nasmith Trophy after a couple of false starts. Only three skippers were there to start competition, except one skipper, who we will not mention by name, bought the wrong sails for his boat resulting in a little later start to competition. 

John turned up a little later in the day, but was not motivated to sail so his RC would not get wet. So that meant we were guaranteed a podium finish, at the end of the day, Your's Truly came in first place followed by Les and Bruce. See attached results.

The winds were challenging, Very light and quite variable or non existent. Some skippers experienced some weed throughout the day, but it was not an issue, the issue was where did the breeze go.

Our next LSWSA RC competition is the Handicap Heat 6 on 3/08/2025.
