RC Club - Handicap Heat #7

Congratulations to Paul on his first place, who kept that IOM moving, making it hard to haul him in.

Les and I tied for second, but on countback Les took out the second place.

Mark was doing well but got a little stuck on the bank (More than once, but easily done) when he followed Paul (with the shorter keel) in close to shore.

The breezes were good and consistent for most of the day although the top buoy did give most skippers some grief throughout the day, with the breeze dropping out or swinging around.

I think everyone had a great day with pleasant company of other RC Group Members.

Les, as usual, had a fairly substantial handicap so had plenty of time to take some pics, thanks Les.

Our next sail will be Championship Heat # 7 on 14th September.
