RC Club - Championship Heat #6

Congratulations to Les, Bob and Stuart on their podium finishes.

Well we had a very slow start to the day with low to no wind, we only managed to complete three races between 10 o'clock and 12 noon. (We probably went past the time limit for an event officially but we are there to sail and it was certainly challenging).

The breeze came in after lunch and we were able to complete another 9 races before the breeze again dropped out for the last race which started just prior to 3pm.

Once again we sailed the old triangular International course keeping all buoys to starboard for the first 3 races until we reversed the coarse after lunch when the breeze picked up.

We sailed again from the new shelter giving an excellent over the whole coarse.

Our next Sailing Event is the Handicap # 5 on Sunday 6/7/2025.
