John Boetje and John Woods were racing #53 at Harwood, on the Clarence River in Northern NSW. The Big River Sailing Club hosts the annual ‘Bridge to Breakers’ regatta, and the strong winds and flat water suit the Windrush well.

She was originally bought in 1981 and was shipped to Gove N.T. At some point the original owner sold, but the boat remained in Gove. I originally saw this boat on 44 gallon drums in a park in Gove in 1992
