Shed Shenanigans
Earlier this year the parts for the new Titan shed were delivered. They were quickly swallowed by the fast growing grass this summer. Whipper snippers to the rescue and all’s good.
In April, the slab was laid around the old generator shed, and in early May, a good-size work party of volunteers turned up with their Ikea and Mecccano tools at the ready only to find that the slab was laid the wrong way around.
No worries, we said. :)
Much leaning on shovels, cogitating and politically incorrect impressions of council workers was then done. The concreter was called and has now come back to correct this error after the lads dug an extra bit to add on one side. Now to wait another 3 weeks to let the concrete set.
By late June, The Builder and Tim, with their trusty band of volunteers have now got the frame up, the sides on and the roof goes on next. Fantastic effort by all who participated. Looks like it’ll be ready to use in the next couple of weeks.
