New Website and Youtube Channel

Lake Samsonvale Water Sports Association now has an updated website, and a brand new Youtube Channel. Both will take time to populate and grow, and apologies if you’ve lost a link from the previous website. It may take a while to get noticed by search engines and it’s still a work in progress but it was time to get it out there.

There’s other promotional items in the pipeline and we’ll let you know about them as we go along. The aim is to promote the club on as many media as we can manage to hopefully grow LSWSA membership.

The website has a blog section which includes news/stories and race results from the sailing group and the RC yachting group. Club news and Event will be posted here including marathons and Regattas. 

We intend to share news, and race results, on Facebook, and email members of significant news in the future. ‘The Youtube channel will eventually include a video of various activities at the club once we get enough footage and have time to assemble. We dont have many of our own yet, so view playlist for now and please let us know of appropriate videos to add to those playlists. '

A huge thank you to all those who have contributed stories, images and video so far, to both video and website content. (Andy. Ben, Paul Lock, Rob, Stuart and others) We will be using some of that material in the next few months.

Please ‘like’ the vids and Facebook posts to help us gain traction and promote the club. Over the next 12 months, we will also endeavour to engage radio and local newspapers. 

If we have used an image or video on the website that you have an issue with, please let us know and we’ll remove it as soon as we can.

Happy to get emails from MEMBERS on errors, suggestions, stories etc, via this form on the website. 

Remember, we are all volunteers, so please be kind…. and these things can take time.
