Lake Samsonvale Water Sports Association's annual New Year's Regatta is a fun, casual, weekend of sail racing and good company. We invite all interested sailors who have craft fitting into our racing divisions (off the beach mono, cats and juniors) to join us for a couple of days of enjoyable racing on our beautiful lake.
Please find the Notice of Race (NOR), Sailing Instructions and Entry form below.

Racing is conducted at Lake Samsonvale every other Sunday (and all the time if you are into RC Yachts!) during the spring to autumn season, and about once a month during winter. There are a variety of series including the club championships (throughout the year). The A Series, B Series and Winter Series. And also, the Marathon series.
In addition to these club based races we hold two regattas each year. The New Year's Regatta, and the Mid Winter Marathon.
Each series holds a variety of mixed class sailing divisions to support everyone from classic monohulls to performance catamarans.
While racing at Lake Samsonvale is abundant in skilful sailing and quality competition, it is also very casual and welcoming for those who are new to racing.
