The Queensland Government's Gambling Community Benefit Fund provided $13,884.00 to
Lake Samsonvale Water Sports Association Inc for the purchase of a new Electricity Generator set.
 
Our previous GenSet was an ancient single cylinder air cooled Lister diesel, becoming quite
unreliable, and was definitely, as we call in the trade, 'uneconomically repairable'.

We now have a brand new modern GenSet that should give us many years of an improved and reliable
source of electricity.

I like to take this opportunity to thank McFarlane Generators Pty Ltd from Brendale for their
advice and help and supplying the GenSet and showing me how to operate the Set. Their Staff
are very friendly and helpful and were ready at any time give advice when I needed it.

A very big 'thank you' to John Woods for supplying the truck and crane and assisting with
removal of the old and installation of the new GenSet.

I also need to compliment the Management and technician of Allight Pty Ltd from Murarrie
for their attention and sorting out a couple of minor warranty issues.
